Crash of Rhinos “Distal” CD Release 22nd August

We posted about this a little while ago and following on from Crash Of Rhinos’ recent stint of live dates with Algernon Cadwallader, Lemuria, Crushing Blows, 1994 and Tellison (but to name a few), we are pleased to announce the CD release of the band’s debut album “Distal” on August 22nd.

We will be rewarding those who get in early too, as the first 100 CDs will be hand numbered and will come with Brave Or Invincible and Crash of Rhinos badges. The package itself comes in a gatefold wallet with an 16-panel fold out containing pictures of the recording process, lyrics and recording details; and as always an instant high quality download upon purchase.

The package can be seen below and will be up on the store for pre-order in the next few days.

Tiny Cinema & Uno Moller Split EP

This has been in the locker for a little while now, but we’re very pleased to announce the release of a brilliant split EP featuring our very own Tiny Cinema and Lazy Acre Records‘ Uno Moller.

The EP features four songs, an original from each artist and a mutual cover version of an existing track by the other artist… So, a new Tiny Cinema song and an Uno Moller cover, performed by Tiny Cinema; and a new Uno Moller song, with a Tiny Cinema cover, performed by Uno Moller. Does that make sense? It’s a lot simpler than we’re making it. You can listen to the whole EP below for free and you can purchase a digital download for a mere £1.99 from right here. That’s less than a latte!

Exhibit This

Last week ended our founding members spell of studies at university. Drinks were had, anecdotes were told and goodbyes were said. Nick and Callum will now be taking Brave Or Invincible forward with the help of Ryan who will be working from the far off land of Sheffield. We therefore bid farewell to Chris who has been with us since the very beginning and wish him all the best with his new business venture ‘470 Media‘.

In closing out our studies we were required to exhibit and showcase what we’ve been doing for the last three years of our lives. Brave Or Invincible has never been a University project, it’s never been forced upon us and we’ve never been marked on it; it is just what we love doing and it’s fair to say that our time with the likes of Andrew Dubber, Matt Grimes, Jon Hickman and Jez Collins has helped us to grow and develop as a business and as an entity in the independent music industry. So with that in mind, we exhibited all that BOI has created, learned and achieved, gave away a lot of CDs and badges and drank some free wine.

The very talented Ellie Gibbons was on hand to capture the Exhibition, which went under the name of ‘Exhibit This 2′ at the Custard Factory in Birmingham, and you can enjoy our goonish faces below.
