Earlier on this week we announced the details of the upcoming Katerwaul single release and now we have the details on the launch party to celebrate!
Katerwaul will be performing at the Kilau Coffee Shop and Art Gallery in Aberdeen on 4th September at 8pm in association with Lost & Found promotions. Those who are able to attend will be able to purchase one of only fifty limited copies of the “Valley Under a Concrete Sea” package, which contains a vinyl CD copy of the double A-side single and a poster; 2 days before the release in the BOI Store!
You can also catch Katerwaul at a very special instore performance earlier in the day on Saturday 4th at 1up Records on Belmont St, Aberdeen.
So please get down to the shows and give your support, it’s set to be a great day. And if you can’t make it on Saturday 4th, don’t worry, because we will be holding back a number of the “Valley Under a Concrete Sea” packages for the official release on Monday 6th September via our very own BOI Webstore.
Stick it in the diaries because this is the date that we will be releasing the BRAND NEW Double A-Side Single from Katerwaul “Valley Under A Concrete Sea”.
Not only are we so good to you that we are going to be offering the download of the album on a ‘Pay What You Want’ basis, starting at £0…but we also have a great little physical set to offer too.
We will be selling copies of “Valley Under A Concrete Sea” on vinyl CD (which is basically a disk that plays as a CD but has the lovely appearance of a 4.72″ vinyl record); to be accompanied with a fold out map/lyrics sheet, and also a beautiful A3 poster designed by Katerwaul’s very own Tim Courtney.
AND…
To celebrate this great news, Katerwaul will be having a (pre)release party on the 4th of September, where you will be able to pick up a copy of the CD and a poster before anyone else!
But more news on that to follow soon, so keep your ear to the metaphorical, internet based, ground.
Huzzah! We are now selling Katerwaul’s brilliant album ‘Here There Is No Why’ in our BRAND NEW BOI Webstore.
The CD comes packaged in a beautiful 24 page booklet filled with artwork and lyrics by Tim Courtney. We love interesting physical product here at BOI towers and this certainly ticks all our sweaty boxes!
To celebrate the release we’re knocking 20% off the price which means you can get your hands on a copy for just £7.99
We also have the album up for ‘pay what you want’ download on the BOI Bandcamp page, so there really is no excuse not to get on the Katerwaul bandwagon
Ladies and Gentlemen, the time is finally here! The BOI Records Mixtape: Volume 1 is available to buy now! For just the measly sum of 5 english pounds sterling, one of just 100 limited edition mixtapes could be yours.
If you head over to our special BOI Mixtape Bandcamp page, you can purchase your mixtape and get the audio and artwork straight to your desktop to listen to at your leisure.
With the quality of music on offer, combined with the frankly INCREDIBLE artwork created by our 9 artists, we think this release is an absolute bargain. And if you feel the product is worth more than £5, we’re giving you the option to possibly pay a little more if you so wish.
We also just want to take this opportunity to thank all the bands on the compilation for their co-operation, all the artists who took the time and effort to be involved in this release, and of course, you for reading this and supporting independent record labels like ours.
Now the mixtape is out, we’re not resting. Keep your eyes peeled right here, over on our official Twitter feed and also our brand new Facebook page. We’ve got some great stuff coming your way in the next couple of months!
So to make sure you don’t miss out, we are allowing our loyal fans to get hold of their copy a whole week in advance. All you have to do is sign up to our mailing list and we will send you an exclusive link on Monday 9th, so you can secure your one-of-a-kind mixtape before anyone else.
Plus; just as a thank you for signing up to the mailing list (as if that wasn’t enough), you will receive a copy of Tiny Cinema’s exclusive cover of Wheat’s ‘Don’t I hold you’ absolutely free!
Details about how you can get hold of your favorite designer’s work will all be revealed soon.
So to wet your appetite even more, grab yourself an extra sneak preview at some more beautiful cassette designs. Got your eye on one in particular? Then what you waiting for…
